Umrah Steps
How to perform Umrah
Assalam Tour and Travels always tries to provide Assistance to the people who want to Perform Umrah. However, People who want to perform Umrah are usually terrified about how to perform Umrah and to do all the steps required while Performing Umrah. As there are Various Steps to complete the pious and sacred journey of Umrah, Khidmati Safar provides various methods to show how to perform Umrah such as through Orientation Program, through Video and today we have come up by providing the Proper Image about How To Perform Umrah Step By Step. Below are some steps you need to look at while performing Umrah:
1. Ihram
Umrah pilgrims from Kashmir need to wear Ihram at Delhi Airport because we do not have a direct flight from Srinagar to Jiddah. While wearing Ihram you need to do the Intention of wearing Ihram only because you are in a State Of Ihram but Not In Umrah.
2. Miqaat
While travelling from Delhi we pass Through The Miqaat(yalamlam) and at that time the Proper Announcement is made by the Airline as well as by the Umrah Guide who is along with you.
On reaching Miqaat you need to do the Intention of performing Umrah by saying:
Umrah Niyat: لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ عُمْرَةً
Translation: O Allah, here I am to perform Umrah. and say Talbiyah for 4 times i.e.
Dua: لَبَّيْكَ اللهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ – لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ – إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ – لَا شَرِيْكَ لَكَ
3. Tawaaf
You must be aware of Tawaaf, which means Circulating The Kaaba 7 times which starts from a Black stone Known As Al-Ḥajaru Al-Aswad to a Black stone. During Tawaaf you need to put the Ihram under your Right Arm and start Tawaaf. Among 7 circles around the Kabba 4 Rounds must be done in Rammal which means Walking Fast.
4. Maqam E Ibrahim
Once you are done with Tawaaf you need to Cover Your Right Arm with the Ihram and start praying 2 Rakat Of Namaz facing towards Maqam Ibrahim.
5. Zam Zam
After completing Nimaz drink Plenty Of Zamzam water but you should drink Normal Zamzam Water instead of cold Zamzam water because you get a lot of sweat after performing Tawaaf so if you drink cold Zamzam water you might Fall Sick.
6. Safah
Our Sa`ee starts from Safa. When we leave Kabba, on the right side is the Safa which is mentioned by a board onto which the name is mentioned, you can see the image above. At Safa and Marwa we need to walk 7 times back and forth which is known as Sa`ee.
7. Green Light
The green area shown in the above image is a Rammal point at Safa and Marwa where men have to walk fast and women need to walk as usual. You have to follow the same procedure for 7 walks during Sa`ee.
8. Marwa
Our walk ends at Marwa where you can sit and wait for the one who remains behind. Our Umrah reaches near to the end now the only ritual is to perform Halaq.
9. Halaq
Halaq means to Shave The Head completely. It is Mandatory For Men to do Halaq as it signifies the End Of Umrah. And for Women Pilgrims, they are required to cut a Small Hair which is equal to a Fingertip in order to make their Spiritual Journey End.
The steps mentioned above are the Procedure To Perform Umrah and in this way, your Umrah Gets Completed. Now in the remaining days of your Umrah Package, you will be provided a visit to various Ziyarats Of Makkah And Madina and will be provided with the Umrah Services mentioned by your Umrah travel operator during your Umrah Booking.
