Umrah Steps
Below is a step‑by‑step guide to performing Umrah. May Allah make your journey easy, accepted, and spiritually uplifting.
Talbiyah
Recite the Talbiyah loudly, expressing devotion and readiness to perform the pilgrimage, continuously affirming your submission to Allah.
Tawaf
Walk seven times counterclockwise around the Kaaba, showing unity and worship, drawing spiritually closer to Allah.
Prayer at Maqam Ibrahim
Offer two units of prayer behind Maqam Ibrahim, the standing place of Prophet Ibrahim, seeking blessings and acceptance of your worship.
Drinking Zamzam Water
Drink Zamzam water, a blessed and pure water with healing properties, symbolizing nourishment and divine mercy.
Sa’i between Safa and Marwah
Walk or run seven times between the hills of Safa and Marwah, commemorating Hagar’s perseverance and trust in Allah.
Halq or Taqsir
Complete Umrah by shaving your head (Halq) or trimming some hair (Taqsir), symbolizing humility, renewal, and the end of Ihram.
Exiting Ihram
After hair cutting, exit the sacred state of Ihram by resuming normal activities and clothing, marking spiritual renewal.
